Jiu Jitsu is part of our mixed martial arts curriculum during our Advanced Black Belt Training Krav Maga Program.
While Krav Maga stresses staying off the ground at all cost, it accepts that you may eventually have no choice but to fight there. Jiu Jitsu has been proven to be the most effective fighting style when in close-quarters or on the ground. Regardless of the size and strength of your opponents, students are taught the best positions while on the ground, how to use certain kicks, stand and evade.
You will also learn the mechanics of the human body and how to bring them to submission through joint manipulations (or damage/destruction to the limbs) to prevent further attack. You will also learn certain chokes and holds, how to use leverage to our advantage, and advanced grappling techniques.
